⚔️Battle of Dorileum (July 1, 1097)
A decisive battle against the Seljuk Turks in Asia Minor. The crusaders split into two columns. The vanguard (Bohemond, Robert) was attacked by Kilij Arslan's Turks (80,000) at Dorileum. They held out until the main forces (Godfrey, Raymond) arrived. The Turks were completely defeated, opening the way to Anatolia.
