⚔️First Militia (1611)
Initiated by Prokopy Lyapunov, the Ryazan voivode. Joined by Cossacks and nobles. In spring 1611, they approached Moscow, burning the White City and besieging the Kremlin. Disagreements led to Lyapunov's murder by Cossacks (July 1611). The militia disbanded, needing new strength.
