Law on 'Discrediting the Army'
Signed on March 4, 2022, this law imposes fines up to 50,000 rubles for 'discrediting' the military. A criminal article allows up to 15 years in prison for repeated offenses or calls to action. It prohibits calling the operation a war, criticizing the military, or spreading false information.
