Negotiations through August-September. Richard was ill (fever). Saladin was also tired. Both needed peace. Treaty on September 2, 1192: truce for 3 years, Jaffa and the coast to the crusaders, Jerusalem to the Muslims, Christian pilgrims can visit the holy sites unarmed
