Acre (Akko) was a key port besieged by the Crusaders since August 1189. Saladin besieged the besiegers (double siege). Guy de Lusignan led the siege. Arrival of Richard and Philip in June 1191. Intense bombardment. Acre surrendered on July 12, 1191
